Federico Finchelstein, Professor of History at the New School and an internationally-recognized expert on fascism, populism, and dictatorship, will deliver a lecture on the recent election of Javier Milei as President of Argentina. Milei, a far-right populist often compared to Donald Trump and Brazil’s Jair Bolsonaro, who was elected on promises of drastic changes to Argentina’s economy.
