Halloween is near, so that means the witches are almost upon us. Not just any witches, but Hispanic witches who are going to come pay Williams Students a visit. The TAs in the Spanish Department welcome you to its second event of the semester and they promise it is going to be a spooky one. Come join them to witness the story and “encanto” of the Witches from Galicia and learn about the different ways magic is still around us. We will talk about the different superstitions in each of our cultures and learn the wonders of astrology, all while enjoying some delicious snacks/food.

Ya se acerca “Halloween” y eso significa que las brujas ya casi están aquí. No son brujas cualquiera, sino brujas hispanas que vienen a visitar a los estudiantes de Williams. Las TAs del Departamento de Español les dan la bienvenida a su segundo evento del semestre y les prometen que será escalofriante. Vengan a experimentar la historia del encanto de las brujas de Galicia y a aprender sobre las maneras diferentes en las cuales la magia aún nos rodea. Hablaremos sobre las distintas supersticiones que existen en cada una de nuestras culturas (España, Argentina y Puerto Rico) y exploraremos las maravillas de la astrología; todo mientras nos deleitamos con meriendas/comida exquisitas.
